Meeting of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with members of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan

On April 14, 2022, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Vakhabov met with members of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, who is on a working visit to Uzbekistan, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was also attended by the Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan A.A. Akhtareev and representatives of the business community of Tatarstan.

In the course, the preliminary results of the visit of the delegation of Tatarstan were considered. Representatives of companies and enterprises spoke about the work done, meetings and negotiations with their Uzbek partners, as well as about visiting industrial enterprises of the republic.

During the speech, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Vakhabov listed priority areas for establishing business partnerships between entrepreneurs of the two countries. Among them are the textile and electrical industries, pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, the IT sector and other industries.

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmatov outlined the commitment of the two countries to intensify interaction in order to create the most favorable conditions for attracting Tatar and Uzbek entrepreneurs and investors to practical cooperation, meaning the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in promising industries, as well as an increase in the volume of mutual trade.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the results of the delegation's visit, and also agreed not to slow down the pace of mutual cooperation. Great potential for further cooperation in various areas of cooperation was announced.
