Pursuant to the legislation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan is exempt from the obligation to pay state fees when submitting applications, claims, and complaints to the courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan on behalf of business entities.

Ensuring legal protection for businesses is essential for the accelerated development of entrepreneurship, comprehensive support for businesses, and the attraction of foreign investment. In this regard, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has undertaken various initiatives aimed at safeguarding the legal rights and interests of entrepreneurs, including its members.

In particular, in the last 5 years, there has been a trend of year-by-year growth in the number of petitions (lawsuits) submitted to the courts in favor of business entities.

In the first nine months of 2024, 679,000 applications (claims) were submitted on behalf of business entities that are members of the Chamber, totaling 47 trillion soums, 643 million U.S. dollars, and 175 million 77 thousand euros. Of these, 630,515 claims were successfully resolved in favor of the members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, in 930 instances, appeals, cassation, and supervisory complaints were lodged for further judicial review.

Additionally, in 1,536 cases, disputes between business entities were resolved through pre-trial negotiations (mediation) with the involvement of experts from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
