The Chinese Institute of international studies /CSIS/ at the Chinese foreign Ministry held a presentation of the book entitled " President Mirziyoyev. Architect of the reform era of Uzbekistan" in Chinese.
The book, published by "Shijie Zhishi chubanshe" /"Knowledge of the world"/, includes 13 works of authoritative Chinese experts.
It is expected that the book will be an important tool for representatives of Chinese political-forming, scientific, academic and expert circles in a deeper understanding of modern reforms in Uzbekistan and the strategic impact of these processes on the long-term prospects of regional security and development in Central Asia, with which China's interests are closely linked.
"The publication of this work is an important event in the history of Uzbek-Chinese relations," Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to China Bakhtiyor Saidov said at the presentation, adding that the book presents the authors ' conceptual ideas for further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China at a new stage.
B. Saidov highly appreciated the scientific value and applied significance of this book. "Of course, the assessments and initiatives outlined in the book are of great importance for the development of new practical proposals that contribute to the further development and strengthening of multifaceted and long - term cooperation between the two countries," the Ambassador said.
The presentation was jointly organized by the Chinese Institute of international studies and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China.
The event was attended by Director of the above-mentioned Institute Qi Zhenhong, special representative of the Chinese government for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui, former Deputy foreign Minister Zhang Deguang, the authors of some articles of this book, as well as representatives of a number of institutions and the media.
